R & D Studies

Central Ground Water Board is assisting the Ministry of Water Resources in the form of a Sub-committee of Indian National Committee on Hydrology (INCOH), with a view to accelerate the research and development programme in ground water sector and giving due consideration to increased need of taking up research in the filed of ground water. This Research Committee is headed by Member (SML) of CGWB as Chairman and assisted by six members with Superintending Hydrogeologist of CGWB as Member Secretary. This Committee examines the project proposals received by INCOH in the field of Ground water for their suitability for funding by MoWR and also monitors the research schemes funded by INCOH.
