Of the total 48 districts in the state of Madhya
Pradesh, in respect of 22 districts Ground Water User Maps have been prepared, based on
the survey and exploration and various studies carried out by the Board during the last 50
years. The maps provide area and depth wise information on ground water resource
availability, quality and development prospects. To cope with the increasing development,
feasibility of suitable artificial recharge structures has also been indicated.
The
22 district Ground Water user maps have been prepared in a manner which is easy to
understand, as per the following.
It is
hoped that they will be immensely useful to common masses and user organisations for
Ground Water management.
