Surface resistivity and borehole geophysical methods have been
used in NCR to demarcate the sub-surface boundaries of different aquifers, saline-fresh
water zones as well as identify areas for citing artificial recharge structures.
Geophysical field investigations form an important and integral component of the ground
water resources development and management. The prime objective of geophysical
investigations in NCR is unravel the hidden sub-surface hydrogeological for groundwater
exploration and artificial recharge of groundwater. |
