For all types of investigations, the data is analysed and documented. The documents are issued in the form of Reports, Maps, Atlases, etc. in the following categories.

1	State Report	Studies carried out by CGWB and other concerned Departments in the State, Hydrogeological conditions, Ground water resources, present pattern of utilisation, water level trends, water quality, etc.
2	District Reports	General Hydrogeological conditions in the district are discussed, highlighting the present ground water scenario. All reports are issued at different time intervals. Revised reports are issued for two districts in every year.
3	Ground Water Management studies	Reappraising the ground water resources in an area of 1000 to 3000 sq.km highlighting the ground water problems with recommendations for the management of the resource.
4	Basic Data Reports	Hydrogeological data of each borehole drilled under exploration programme.
5	Urban hydrogeology	Ground water conditions in major urban areas in terms of its quantity and quality.
6	Conjunctive Use Studies	Integrated use of canal and ground waters in canal command areas of Tungabhadra Project, Nagrjunasagar Project, Sriram Sagar Project - present scenrio of utilisation, strategies for conjunctive use.
7	Ground Water Year Book	Analysis of water levels and chemical quality of network of monitoring wells in the State during a field season.
8	Water supply investigation	Investigations carried out on demand from Central and Public Sector Agencies for managing the ground water supply.
