The Regional Office of Central Ground Water Board at Hyderabad had the jurisdiction over southern four States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu till 1988. Now, the jurisdiction is limited to the State of Andhra Pradesh. It maintains an Unit Office at Visakhapatnam. It is headed by Regional Director.
