Jhabua district is situated in the extreme south‐ western part of the Madhya Pradesh state. It occupies the hilly tract along the western margins of Malwa plateau. The district extends between the parallels of latitude 22.525886 N and 23.242257 N, and meridians of longitude 74.319641 E and 75.016647 E.
