Central Ground Water Board provides technical assistance to Defence Establishments and Government Agencies to solve their immediate water supply problems by conducting request-based investigations for selecting suitable sites for the construction of ground water abstraction structures.
During the year 2021-22, a total of 105 requests-based hydrogeological/Geophyisical investigations were carried out by the Board. Details of the investigations carried out is given in in table 1 and figure 1 :
